Such a cool video! Is it wrong to think: they should not only be wearing helmets, but also something to filter the smog / keep it out of their lungs!
That rules! It almost makes me want to live in LA again just so I can do that. Almost.
I would point out that it is unsafe and considered improper bicycling etiquette to ride in-between lanes of traffic. Taking the shoulder is fine, and of course using the lanes as would a car is also good. There is no need to give bicyclists a bad name by driving like a bike-messenger.
